Jared Krainin, M.D.

Description

Originally from Florence, South Carolina, Dr. Krainin earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of South Carolina and completed his residency in Internal Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. With longstanding ties to South Carolina and the Lowcountry, he is dedicated to delivering compassionate cardiovascular care to the community he calls home. Outside of work, he enjoys running, cycling, playing pickleball, and watching South Carolina Gamecocks football games. Dr. Krainin’s clinical interests include comprehensive cardiac imaging, advanced echocardiography, and the evaluation and management of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. He has a strong focus on preventive cardiology, including personalized strategies for weight management, risk-factor modification, and heart-healthy lifestyle planning. He also offers evidence-based alternatives for tobacco cessation and is committed to helping patients reduce cardiovascular risk through sustainable, individualized approaches. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and Adult Echocardiography.
